Head Coach Maddy Stark
Coach Maddy played travel softball from 10U up through 18U for travel organizations such as Illinois Chill, Chicago Fireworks and Trevians. A four-year varsity starter at Glenbrook South High School (class of 2011) in Glenview, Illinois, she earned All-Conference honors as a sophomore, junior and senior. She pitched, played at shortstop and third base during her high school career and was selected as Team Captain and MVP in her senior year.
Maddy was a four-year starter at Kenyon College (class of 2015) in Gambier, Ohio, playing as pitcher, shortstop and in center field. She earned All-Conference honors as a sophomore, junior and senior and was selected as Team Captain in her junior and senior years. During her junior campaign, Coach Maddy set records for strikeouts in a game (13) on two separate occasions, strikeouts in a season (126), and strikeouts in a career (317). Additionally, she set single-season records for fewest walks per seven-inning game (0.66) and most strikeouts per seven-inning game (5.54). She ended her junior year with a 13-9 record and a 2.1 earned run average. She threw eight shutouts. In her senior campaign, offensively she produced 55 hits, 35 runs scored, 6 home runs, 36 RBIs, 81 totals bases and a .609 slugging percentage. She also continued to shine in the circle with 20 wins, 26 complete games, 186 innings and 146 strikeouts, which broke her previous record of 126 in a single season and solidified her #1 position in Kenyon’s record books for most career strikeouts (463).
Coach Maddy graduated from Kenyon with a degree in mathematics and is currently employed as an analyst at Allstate Insurance Company.

Head Coach Christine Christopoulos
Coach Christine graduated from local New Trier HS in Winnetka in 2006 after transferring from Niles North HS. As a four year varsity captain, she earned both Most Valuable Player and Offensive & Defensive Player of the Year Awards while leading her New Trier team to a 4th place finish in the 2006 IHSA State Playoffs.
Christine went on to play at the University of Illinois, where she set and still holds the All-Time U of I saves record for a pitcher. While at the University of Illinois, she was nominated for the Illinois Female Spirit Award that is given to the athlete that has shown the most heart and passion both on and off the field. She was also a Senior 100 Honorary in 2010, where she was recognized as one of the Top 100 Seniors at the U of I Campus for outstanding accomplishments in leadership, academics and campus involvement throughout her undergraduate career.
Christine has coached softball for the past 7 years with the Trevian Girls Softball Association (ages 12U through 16U), New Trier High School (2011 and 2012) and as a private pitching, hitting, and fielding instructor in the North Shore since 2010. Over 20 of her former players and students have competed at the collegiate level. Additionally, she is experienced in personal training and strength and conditioning.
Christine earned her Masters in Sports Administration from Northwestern University and is currently working for the Chicago Bears in the sales and marketing department.
Head Coach Amanda Howell
Coach Amanda played baseball for 2 years and then was a starter on travel fastpitch softball teams at 10U to 14U, and 18U with the Trevians. She played at 14U and 16U for the Bull/Sox Academy. On these travel teams she honed her skills as a pitcher, infielder, outfielder, and hitter. Her teams competed at the highest levels and qualified and attended ASA nationals at 12U, 14U, and 16U, and also qualified for berths at USSA and PGF nationals at these levels.
Coach Amanda graduated from New Trier High School in 2015. As a freshman she was a starter on the JV as a pitcher and outfield. She was a three year starting varsity player, at 2nd base and outfield. She earned All Conference honors, Offensive Player of the Year, Coaches Award, First Team All Region, and Second Team All State. While at New Trier she was also nominated to the student athletic leadership training program.
She is now entering her sophomore year Denison University. As a freshman she started at third base and lead the team in doubles and RBIs. She was awarded North Coast Athletic Conference second team, as well as Second Team National Fastpitch Coaches Association All Central Region.
Amanda has experience in working with players on hitting and skills development in clinics and coached a 12U fastpitch team in 2016.
